I don't think any of them are doing much good. Governor Christie is doing the best he can and is on top of things but there's just so much he can do. He has a direct phone number to the president but if the president doesn't get people off their butts to get out there to save peoples lives, the direct phone number doesn't mean much.
I heard that huge pumps are coming in from California to pump the tunnels out. Other states are supposed to be bringing equipment too.
Gas lines are 3-4 hours long for car gas and to fill containers for generators. $50 limit in put on every purchase in NJ.
FEMA refused to help Moonachie, NJ which is under water. Governor Christie told Obama about it and FEMA is now supposed to get help to Moonachie.
Staten Island is in a terrible mess. FEMA nor the Red Cross is there to help them. The weather is turning very cold this weekend and they have no food, water or heat. A woman went screaming up to Senator Schumer begging for help which brought me to tears.
Mayor Bloomberg should be strapped to a pole and forced to spend the night outside. He has authorized the marathon to go on tomorrow
taking police officers away from areas they are needed to stand along the path of the marathon. The money spent on the marathon could put people in a cheap motel room with a meal and warm blanket or forget about the room, help them to find a way to stay warm. It's disgusting that he made the decision to go ahead with the race. I know people from other countries have spent money on the race but New York and New Jersey are suffering badly and we need money, food, water and a warm blanket or jacket.

Sandy wasn't generated by the government. But it wasn't even a hurricane when it made land and it certainly wasn't the monster storm it was claimed to be.
