I just hope that those in the military would know who the real enemies are, sometimes it is the ones that are the leaders of a country are the true enemy.

Maybe a better question would be how to help all the men returning from long tours in war zones aclimate to civilized living again.
There is much more need for loving sons, brothers and fathers, faithful husbands, attentive lovers, pleasant neighbors, responsible work colleagues, safe drivers, calm communities - I much prefer that manly competition over the gun toting crazies.

I think you as a nation should do some serious soul searching on the part of your Constitution that gives citizens the "Right to Bear Arms". More guns in the hands of more people will just bring more gun violence. You are smart enough to know that. If you insist on keeping this dubious "Right" then you should only be allowed to bear the arms that were available at the time your Constitution was written, the guns you fought your war of independence with, for the most part this was muskets. This would at least give victims a chance to run between rounds. With a musket the gunman would have to get another musket ball, gun powder and ramrod out and reload, even the fastest re-loader in the world could not do as much damage as he could with automatic or semiautomatic weapons. Think about it!

besides if some Government is about to disarm their citizens ,for some reason...they would go step by step
raising the taxes on possessing firearms, change the laws ,like if you have a high power weapon ,your car registration is double ( I know it sounds crazy,but its just a hypotheses).
TV and all media commercials against weapons ,New quasi scientist and mind washer will go down the line and "explain" the psychological need for having a weapon ...Of cause more " tragedies " in public places will happen involving guns ...

Here's the Second Amendment, by gum:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Note that introductory clause, "A well-regulated militia"? No matter how you interpret it, it cannot mean "no regulation." So, the second amendment to the US Constitution clearly mandates regulation of guns.
