Well, I have met my perfect fit soul-mate. She is no mirror of me and I wouldn't want to live with someone like me. She is unique, different to me. She is someone I get along with in peace and happiness and who gets along with me in return.

She makes no demands of me and is accepting of me as I am, yet by just being in her presence, sunshine floods my heart and soul, and I find myself changing for the better.

She is traditional and conservative, yet unconventional. She farts aloud without embarrassment, and will laugh with her whole soul even if she has a mouth full of food. She will spit into a bin as we walk the streets. She is raw and what you see is what you get.

She is timid, yet a raging lioness if she thinks I am being taken advantage of or abused by someone. She is someone that I will give my life for in an instant without having to even think about it.

She is someone that I am connected with physically, emotionally, in heart, mind, and soul. My soul feels empty when we, by necessity, must be apart. My body is her body, and her body is my body. My possessions are her possessions and her possessions are my possessions.

Yes my soul-mate is a perfect fit, like hand in glove. And there was no effort required to fit together. We are like a well glued joint that is extremely difficult to break. Did we work to achieve this? No, we are a natural fusion granted by the gift and grace of God. She has Tao beliefs that differ to mine, yet in this difference is found commonality and complimentary faith.

She is amazing in every way to me, just by virtue of her being who she is and what she is.

My soul-mate is someone I want to live with forever. Yes, my soul-mate is a permanent part of me now and to lose her would be to lose a great part of my very being.

I hope for everyone that one day they will truely meet their soul-mate, because a true soul-mate changes a person permanently and irrevocably for the better. Two become one in body, mind, spirit, soul. There is no longer two, but one unit comprised to two parts that live harmoniously despite differences, and that cannot fully live separate and alone again.

My soul-mate exposes my vulnerabilities and I feel content for her to hold a knife to my vulnerable heart knowing that it will never be wielded for my hurt, but it will be wielded skillfully and surgically to benefit me and bring me life. This is true love.

Does she know that she holds this knife? No she does not, and she never once has so much as even scratched my heart with it. Yet in any true relationship, this weapon exists and is present. If one does not hold open the means of hurt to ones soul, then one is not open and exposed to their mate for life and the joining of two souls can never happen fully.
