1. If they didnt go to the moon, then the conspiracy of silence that has withheld proof is the most successful in the recorded history of any nation
2. If NASA was willing to fake huge achievements, they'd have had more of them by now

Here's what you do. GO find out the list of the mission controllers of the Apollo program. Many of them were young at the time and are still alive. Find their names, and look them up in the telephone directory. Buy a plane ticket to US of A. Call them and arrange a visit. Bring a gift.. maybe a chocolate cake or something. And have a chat yourself with them.
Because others from academia and media have already done that. Literally hundreds of thousands of people involved in the Apollo program.
If you think for 1 second that the US government is actually capable of that size of a cover up... if you think for one second that the Soviet Union couldn't decipher the unencrypted telemetry and triangulate....
you know what I mean.

agree that it would be impossible to cover up if that was fake.

Maybe they do? If you've never seen the moon before up close, how will you know what it's like when landing?
That's interesting also because if anyone remembers, Armstrong had to manually guide the lander down because the computer overloaded with radar telemetry and malfunctioned. So, if they did use models like this, Armstrong would have made great use out of it in the end when he needed to eyeball the ground.
I remember Leo, in Finland visiting a MASSIVE disused Salt mine. Because we were underground, with absolutely no frame of reference for our eyes the boulders below us looked like football sized rocks. I thought we were only a few metres above the bottom. Of coure that's the trick... the eyes played games on us! The guide said each of them boulders below us are the size of buses and small houses.!!
I took a small pebble and dropped it... it was tens of metres below.That for me show me that the eyes are useless and imagination takes over without frame of references.

If my memory services me correctly there was a news article some time ago where Hollywood had to redo some tape from the moon landing etc cause NASA claimed they lost some footage.
