There's been a General Amnesty announced for a while now aswell. They're deserting the Rebels by the hundreds. Maybe thousands at this stage.

Must be hell on earth in that place.People must be forced to take one side or the other and theres little place for neutrality .I can imagine people who for instance diabetics and can't get medical aid or food and scared to death to go out in the streets for fear of being abducted and also people carrying out old scores on old enemies , civil war is meant to be the worst of wars very bitter.MADDOG69: Related but a different story line...

I think most of the civilians split from these area a long time ago. I don't think this qualifies as a civil war in the conventional sense. Most of the terrorists are from abroad and their training, weapons and support comes from abroad too. It's as much a civil war as Viet Nam was.

US Army Major General Paul Vallely, retired, commanding al Qaida in Syria. Don't forget, it's only a 'conspiracy theory' that the US created, funds, arms and directs al Qaida. The reason they are taking away our freedom to communicate in private is to protect us from al Qaida
