They're all 'muslims' to us but they are very segmented in their cultures and beliefs. Africans, Asians, Arabs, Semites, Turks, Kurds, etc are as ethnically diverse and Spanish and Russians. Then you have the main divides between Sunni, Shia, Wahabi, Salafi, Sufi, etc. That's like saying all Christians are the same but the Free Presbyterians will not be joining up with the Johova Witnesses anytime soon. When the Hezbollah rockets and incursions start into northern Isreal the Israeli's will fire in all directions, Hamas and Islamic Jihad will take advantage of Israel's weakness and rise from Gaza, the West Bank and inside Jerusalem. The Iranians will close the Straits of Hormuz, severly reducing world oil supply and all Russian pipelines into Europe will be closed. And so on and so on. Putin, Ahmedinejad, Hizbollah and Assad may just take the slap on the face from the Peace Prize winner but I don't think so. If I were Obama in a dance hall and I saw Assad across the floor with Putin, Ahmedinejad and Hezbollah I wouldn't send my guys over to slap him on the face and think that they could walk away without getting a few clips back. But then I'm not a Nobel peace prize winner, so what do I know.These Russian vessels are now off the coast of Israel

I didn't see the nasty photos but I did hear of them. And in fairness, this was Assad's doing in the start. Not sure how much control he exerts over his own Basiji forces, but they were brutal 2-3 years ago. Ironic that his father got rid of them years ago after they got out of hand, and then Assad in a panic sets them loose again. Still, he's the man at the top and someday he'll have to be held accountable for it. But.. not today.
As for the other side.... I've refrained from posting the videos of the other sides doing. One of the most graphic that the ANNAnews guys found was a room full of children burnt to a crisp. No doubt they were Alawi/Syriac/Christian or some other Non Sunni minorities. And again, I'll repeat, the people who done this are supported by the West and Turkey in one way or the other.

yep you know your self in the powers that be of those warmongers of Zion, Assad can't control hes generals every doing its impossible , all those civil wars are seriously nasty and I pity anyone caught up in it,600 civilians killed by the recent FSA vs Al Qaeda row I never heard about them either maybe the media has only a selective memory, I seen a couple of those videos and I wished I dident, I don't see how the west will get past the Ruskis and I don't see how they can bargain with the S.A.A without Assad.Assas in no angel by any means. A few years ago I would have been happy to see him gone but this western backed gang make him look like a bloody altar boy.
