China will never get all the debt back. They know that.
Up until now they've been content to just get the interest payments, knowing that with each passing day, their economy grows stronger and the US grows weaker. But because of the US QEs, inflation eats most of the gains from the interest payments. China has already warned that it will stop buying US treasury bonds and has been buying gold for nearly a year.
Here's a likely scenario for the US collapse.

And in ten years from now are you saying that "Obamacare" will not be the label that it is referred to? I suppose you can be a nit picking but It is simply to put me down? You are the one that should reread what i posted, and if you have a question than ask, do not assume to know what I think. You may not like the way I write and I may not be so academic as you seem to expect me to use certain terms in the way you might approach something. Maybe you are more of a product of your own environment than you would think. If two people can not even have a transaction of words with the first insulting the other what makes you believe that larger groups of separate goals and ideals will do any better. Now that is possibly a bit cynical but so is your critical nature. Dragos1: well, I suppose I should not joke around without reading what the story is about. I have to say it is not so surprising, People (groups) not getting along. Just politicians throwing their weight around and all the while common folk have not a lot to do but make sure their families are reasonably protected against those that might take advantage of the situation. I was thinking about the term "Obamacare" even if you like it or not.....or neither...it seems like a stupid name for it, especially if the plan is truly supposed to be a long term Health reform. Giving it the name of one president is at the very least narcissistic and what about after the next president comes along? The name should have been something clever and not so connected to one person. Even a good sales person should see that. Two groups of adults that can't play together fairly. It is pathetic indeed.
For Rizlared, You began your ridicule because I used the term "Obamacare", and if you reread what I wrote there it is exactly that, yet you had to jab because I did not use the "Official Name" And as for the two parties not getting along you can see where I highlighted that I also am not impressed. I'm certainly no Republican, nor a Democrat for that matter.
But concerning who's "pulling America down", that's been a bi-partisan effort all along.
The real fallacy is to imagine that politicians of either party are actually trying to make things better.
In truth they are looting the economy, stealing the wealth of the nation for their own benefit. And big costly projects such as wars, Obama-care, bailouts, stimulus, etc. are just the means toward that end.
Wealth disappears from the middle class and trickles up to the rich industrialists who make the weapons, or the fat cat bankers and politicians who run the boondoggle programs.

Now that we are at October 17th......I am going to give my two cents to this to why this happened.
The Obamacare roll out.
The Administration was totally unsure how the American people were going to take the roll out of Obamacare. Would they go into the streets and riot? Would they follow the Tea party leaders in breaking down the governments? These were the unfounded fears of the present Obama administration.
All BS and fabricated for media and world speculation.
No riots occurred. Senator Crus shut down the government all by himself.
With Obamacare failing miserably on its own....conservatives and Tea Party people really did not not need to do much of anything. The roll out has been for 2 weeks. The enrollment numbers are so few...that the Administration will not tell us how many did enroll. But the best guess estimate....is a platry 7m did. In President Obama's home state of Illinois....7,000 enrolled in the first week. You can get more to a High School football game on Friday night!
Were are those 43m Americans without healthcare? What about all those condition to not getting health care? They should be jumping on this program! But.....with the Government's website shutting down down on a very regular basis....they cannot get enrolled. Now here is the secret.....the prices of the Obamacare health insurance are about 2 times the price of commercial health insurance prior to the ACA being enacted.
A Forbes article is saying that every time a person comes to the prices section of the site.....it fails. It crashes the entire site, hence the problems getting enrolled.
It is only beginning. Already my mother received a letter from her Doctor.....as of March of next year....he will not accept any form of Medicaide payment. It is just complex to process theu the government
bureaucracy made by Obama care. Other Doctors are dropping out of practice completely....they simply don't want the headache of dealing with both the Federal government and State government to get paid.
Conservatives told the country and the world that this was going to happen.....back in 2009 during the health care debates. I posted it many times here in Connectingsingles......but ah no.....America has to be like Europe. Well it ain't kids. We have 312m people under one flag here.
Today with Obamacare rollout.....we see the worst in Big government. meddling into a doctor offices to make sure of treatments. Failing to keep a candidate promises made during a election. And worst of all....making a new way to scam the system. Political payment offs
Preisdent Obama supporters....who are now 'navigators' into the complicated health care system. Paid by Federal grants of course!
