It's just over an hour on the train from Springwood to the City.
Springwood's a bit scary to be in tonight, to be honest.
A couple of friends have lost their properties and there's people wandering round the town because they can't get home. and earlier lots of mums in tears because they couldn't get to their kids, they'd locked down the schools.

I'm getting texts and messages from people I've only ever spoken to online, offering us a place to stay if we have to leave, or if we need anything.
It's very humbling. I'm sure we'll be ok where we are, they've just opened up the church down the road for people who have lost their homes.

People can be quite wonderful in times of emergency...just on the pj note... don't go nodland if you at all feel insecure.. ???
I'm going to stay on the lounge tonight, just watching the updates on ABC. Son's in bed but his clothes are handy. My sister's lost her power so we might have some company soon :)
