MADDOG69: Unrelated. It's a well proven fact now. Some ailments leave the person open to manipulation and they inherit unto themselves what they read about themselves, more than the average. And while I'm at it, the average is already hugely vulnerable to suggestion as it stands. Do you ever find that happening to you? Why disagree with me then.

Because the world isn't simply black and white.

Obstinance_Works: Only from some angles...

But Myers Briggs is pseudo-intellectual astrology and the Human race is not that compartmentalised...

Although, perhaps this is the sophisticrat getting the better of me, perhaps the majority of the Human race isn't above the level of Myers Briggs. But then thinking like this wouldn't make me a follower of Fascist ideology - follower being the keyword - but I would be thinking like the dictator over a Fascist state. And perhaps I'd be right. So yes, Fascist from some angles..
thumbs up One of my best friends has a double doctorate-one in Psychology. She and many of her assistant professors refuse to acknowledge the Myers-Briggs tests. I've done it twice in my professional lifetime. It's hogwash.

Have to agree with you. It's fun and a bit of a laugh, but as Maddog pointed out, just as with astrological signs you are bound to recognise certain aspects of yourself in these 'types' but that is just a tiny part of the complex whole a human being is.

Logically, the skill set(s) one uses depends upon the situation.

Psychological testing should be done by professionals and not by the pseudo psychologists. It is a professional assessment and not a heuristic one as some people would have you believe. That's ok for fun, but not for accurate results.
