Blain69: I really need advice how to overcome fear of asking for dates, I know it should be easy, but for me it's quite the opposite.
People think I'm gay cause I never have a date/s.
I'm tired of being always alone.

What is the worst that can happen? Rejection, yes.
Nobody actually died from embarrassment, love.....
From your evident lack of confidence, it seems you are a much more important person than you give yourself credit for. So....
Its hard, yes, but bite the bullet and just ask.
Don't forget, not everyone will be in tune with you. That's no reflection on you. Sadly, a lot of people have preconceived ideas, however wrongly, about the person they want to meet.
Seek out the less judgemental and more receptive ones and......?

...........never had any date until your 44...... If you are really that innocent, then you have a positive side compared to the geeks that are easy to say "lets have a date" or "I love you" to every woman they meet.....
take your time to get to know her for a while before ask her for dates because your innocence might be an opportunity for some....
