We all learn something new daily, so let's share them grin or not blues

TIL about a beard second.

The beard-second is a unit of length inspired by the light-year, but used for extremely short distances such as those in integrated circuits. The beard-second is defined as the length an average beard grows in one second. Kemp Bennett Kolb defines the distance as exactly 100 angstroms, (i.e. 10 nanometers), as does Nordling and Österman's Physics Handbook. However, Google Calculator supports the beard-second for unit conversions using the value 5 nm

2girlsnocup: Tie dye jeans?? Was you a hippy?

Trends are for sheep. Set the trends and be comfortable in what you're wearing. That's my motto. Also explains why I sometimes look like I got dressed in the dark Venus? I can live with that.

Hippy !! no..lol, was a stage in the 80/90's where Jeans of faded splotchy colour was the in thing, though they looked great..lol

As long as you are not dressing in the dark is the main thing !!!!
don't you know the saying men are from Mars, Women are from Venus..?

Today I learned there is a medical procedure for scar tissue buildup that causes a lot of pain.

My daughter fell off her bike awhile ago and tore a hole in an area on her leg. She was waiting for it to heal but during that time scar tissue performed and the hole didn't close up.

She went to an orthopedist and he liquidated the scar tissue (with an injection) and then sucked it out of her leg.

It'll take about a month to see if it works

I never knew about 'otherkin' but listened to a radio show where they interviews a couple who identified as dragons. wow

Otherkin are a community of people who see themselves as partially or entirely non-human. They contend that they are, in spirit if not in body, not human.
