jac379: What evidence do you have that working with machines is a genetic predisposition and that women don't have a primal instinct for working with tools?

Do you think women hunted, or processed kills with their bare hands, whilst men needed tools to do the same job?
I dont have any evidence, my reply was worded wrongly and hypothetical at best...
heres one of my favourite videos....

professor Let's break down this little sentence with some "facts" and "myths" we hold about womin'folk

Handle stress well hmmm hmmm has the ability to multi-task when raising small children, and still being able to satisfy the demands of her husband - and when any of them get sick, is the one to arrange the staying up all night (because hubby has to work in the morning) and often gets a part time job in which she must work around taking the children to school or daycare, pick them up and still cook, clean and make a comfortable home, except for having to take out the garbage and mow the lawn.
as a surgeon with little hands, and the cultural upbringing to hand small delicate and detailed tasks, she has a steady hand and as the rule not afraid of seeing a little bit of blood- culturally strong bedside manner because of the social skills females are more likely to have - and has far as able to separate feelings from a job or action as in captain of a jumbo aircraft must or a surgeon - you might do much much better with a women!

Well I wonder how many taxis with women drivers this person has been in, or how many times he crunched his foot on the car carpet just about pushing it through the floor, whilst being a passenger in his wifes or ladies or even a man's car as they went around a round about. This person in question, should they not think they got to their destination safely.

Would they like a ride on my tractor? or quad bike or the 2ton truck that I drive?

Yup they would chuck their wife or gandma out to the snow when all their teeth were gone.

Personally I have always been interested in engineering, tools mechanics, but when I was at school it was home ec's, making pies, it took women like Emelia and many more, that sadly I didn't get to read about, that busted that sphere. This is the time and age now that young women can now begin and persue what ever they want and now venture out of the "Home Ec" realm.

Looking for a conservative, quietly shy, under-educated, non-cultured elderly woman who I can consider unworthy due to my superior abilities?
This is what his profile says to me. crying

And this post reinforces it.

There is a gender difference on how stress affect the persons you are right on that. However there is also a gender difference in "response" to stress and you might be surprised of it if you check some journals on this.

cool

How would you know which gender the captain for your flight is?
I doubt very much you can get that info before getting into the plane. Until you are sitting and all buckled up and the plane is already flying then the captain says:

Good morning, or evening…. I am your captain Miss Rose Cutie and we will flying at 30,000 feet and the time of your flight will be 5:45 hr, relax I am woman and I can handle big things.

So by the time you know that your captain could be a woman, what are you going to do???

Ask for the plane to return?

Jump?

laugh

For the brain surgery the sooner the better and there should not be a problem choosing a Doctor-man for this.

Good luck with that.
