The first time I heard this song it hit me like a freight train. I played it for my wife and told her I can't tell you how much I love you but listen to the words of this song and imagine me saying these words to you and you'll understand. She died 7/30/2012 of thyroid cancer. We had been divorced 22 years by that time. Even though our marriage went bad she still lives in my memory and this song still brings tears to my eyes thinking about those wonderful days.

Memories
A traditional band was playing at our local pub and the accordion player asked me to dance with him to it (while he played). It got a bit uncomfortable with the thing between us, so he lifted it over our heads, still playing. All was going well until he lost his grip and dropped the thing on my head.
