I think a beach setting would be nice for a wedding. The bride or you can go bare-footed!!!

The last marriage that I attended, was at a clubhouse of a golf course. Was surprisingly a very nice setting. Would even describe as elegant. The outdoor ceremony was held near a pond just a few yards away from the clubhouse: were the wedding reception was held.

Best wedding I attended was on a cruise. My colleague had a lot of help and the cruise line did most of the work. The cruise went for 4 days - out Friday morning, to Key West, then to Cazumel Mexico, and back on Monday morning. She was married on the beach in Key West with and the wedding reception was in the lobby of one of the resorts. Then the rest of wedding parties were on the cruise. Everyone RSVP and it was easy to plan. We all paid for our own suites and because it has to be done in advance and there were installment payment plans for everyone.
There was special dining arrangements on the cruise dinners, club dancing, activities of the wedding party once in Mexico and there was a private island visit as well. There was even gambling in international waters, miniture golf and games - the people could go with the wedding celebration activities or off on their own.
The riverboats also have special events - I must say it was lovely. I would do it again for anyone else that wishes to get married and invite me as a wedding guest.

When I was at the Edinburgh zoo, I shall they had a lovely venue for celebrations. A wedding at the zoo would be nice too!
