Hi Merri, loved your photo so much as it brought back a lot of memories of my early days when I was involved in motor racing.
I was a Timekeeper at Oran Park Raceway and Silverday Hillclimb, my brother and mother competing in dirt-circuit racing (and both winning Championships in the same year), grandfather who did race succesfully in his earlier years with Tommy Sulman and his father winning the first Sydney to Melbourne Motor-cycle Class way back then.

I aim to enjoy what is about to happen in my near future. First of all is my grandson being born and then venturing into very remote areas for a couple of months before heading to Sydney for my High School's 50th celebration.
After that, maybe a couple of more months of travel to see more of Australia in NT & WA.

I bet you would love driving that through the Hills on a warm sunny day.
I know my mum would have loved it, she would take out one of the early MGs every chance she had when she could have the roof off, especially loved it when she hit the windy roads and slide it around the bends.
