Ccincy: I have an old scar from having a piece of wire when I was climbing a tree during my childhood.Yes I was a tomboy.

LadyLori: I was a bit of a "Tom Boy" when I was young, so have quite a few small scars on my hands, knees, elbows and even feet....from climbing rocks, fences, trees, playing sports, etc...
My biggest scar is about 1 1/2 inches, on the front of my neck, from a spinal surgery I had quite a few years back, to fix a disc that had jarred loose and was splicing my spinal cord. I have human cadaver bones and titanium plate/screws that fixed the problem, though have slight permanent damage from damaged nerve endings. Yet, every day, when I see my scar, I am reminded how I can still walk, dance, hug, etc....so I smile. I was given a second chance at life, as I was literally almost paralyzed from the neck down, so take nothing for granted!

jac379: C-section with nerve damage, arthroscopy on my knee, a dog bite on my inner thigh, three, or four minor burns, a knife cut on my knuckle from a vicious marrow I was attempting to pickle, a chicken pox scar on my chest and at least one on my leg, a scar on the back of my head from birth that if anyone touches I lose focus and go woozy, a small one in the middle of my eyebrow from I don't know what, an inoculation scar on my shoulder, I think there's another scar on my head somewhere...probably more than a dozen in total.
Oh I sooo wanna touch that one on your head that makes you go woozy.
