Interesting interpretation of "nice guy". There are plenty of nice men with loads of testosterone laugh

Nidi, you cannot predict love. Yes, you might have an image or type in your head but there is no guarantee that love will go as plan.

Benny1518: Yes. Why shouldn't a woman take the initiative if she realized that her prospective date is too bashful to say the word.

They do but there has to be compensatory factors for his lack of confidence such as money or good looks.

Now normally the handsome man will only be approached by women less physically attractive than himself. On a night out the handsome but shy man will approached by numerous average looking women while the hotties give him a wide berth.

However, there are exceptions. Women seem to intuitively know the difference between a nervous man with little confidence and the 'strong, silent type' who is just being himself. And the hot women will approach the latter type of man which is useful to me as I'm often not in the mood to bother entertaining anybody.

mnowsa: lol...so it is not our fault. Besides, if it was not for testosterone, you women would remain "virgin" all of your life with no cute babies and family..

What's not your fault? (oooh I want to hear the answer to this one laugh)

and yes, there would be fewer children without a doubt laugh

Yes, but isn't it a bit premature to speak of love before dating? the original question was about women asking guys out on dates. How can you love someone (seriously) without really knowing the person?

There's nothing wrong with a woman taking the initiative although I'm a little old fashioned in that I prefer that he takes the initiative. grin
