I suppose it would probably be the same situation of why some black people wouldn't want to approach a white person.


Sometimes people are strange in their thinking.


I've seen several black men I wouldn't had minded dating.They were handsome and had good manners and very friendly too.

I was asked one time by a black man what did I see when I looked at him.I replied back to that I saw a nice man sitting next to me.

bugzee I met that particular man in Southern California and he was a music teacher.

He told me that some white people saw him as only a black man and that's when he had asked me what I saw when I looked at him.

Ocee - You are very probably right. MUCH of the human problem is excess population at the root. I grew up in NYC which had a high population density cause there people are/were stacked up and down as well as sideways. When I was a toddler, my mom (a real estate major) misinterpreted White Flight as a short term fad of only a year or two duration (NOT) and fell prey to 'location, location, location,' but ignored 'timing, timing, timing.' The result was as White hordes fled the prime South Bronx real estate locations she began quietly buying them dirt cheap with Dad's checking account without telling him. >Somewhat upset one day he was when he found out the account had so badly shrank and where the money went.> The long and short of it is I wound up growing up in an almost totally non-white neighborhood. Rascist minded, the local police named the district (precient) there Jungle Habitat. Highest homicide rate in the city back then. Far worse than the 'Fort Apache' or 'Little House on the Prairie' (an utterly burnt out neighborhood with only the police station standing as the lone intact structure for blocks around) districts. Long and short of it was, you name the race and as a young teenager, I probably dallied with some of those girls. Today I live in a place with an average population density of less than 10 per square mile. We also have almost no crime. No jobs either, but that's a different blog.

Jac, I hear you. Just saying, not many 'hot to trot' at the racial mixing idea male blogs from England here. Noting also the lack from the Belgium/France area too. So maybe it is an issue there..?

Come to New Zealand a lovely young girl like yourself would have trouble turning men away I am of Scots decent and I have a number of beautiful coffee coloured nieces and nephews. Some of the nationality's that can be found in my extended family are Samoan Figian Maori Greek Hungarian Chinese Dutch Columbian and Italian. It makes for wonderful family get together's.
