I eat 3 times a day and some fruits in between but after dinner, around 6PM or 7PM, I do not eat anything else until breakfast the next day. If I get hungry before going to bed, I drink a tea. I do not eat sweets, except for fruits. Healthy eating!!!
I ate 3 times and day and had a quite late breakfast, and when I talked to a nutritionist about something else, she told me to eat more. Eating crispy rye bread with tomatoes or fruit in between. I do like to eat 2 warm meals, but small and healthy ones but aim for 4 to 5 times a day eating / snacking.

lifeisadream: It is better to have several small-meals during the day that to have just one big one but bodies are different.
If for some reason you are not hungry try eating some fruit and drink some tea or water at least so your gastric juices do not bother your stomach on the long run.
Take care of yourself and especially of your stomach.
My heaviest meal is at the morning, light lunch and a small dinner.
My morning meal was 3 enfrijoladas (like enchiladas) filling of 2 egg whites half avocado half tomato a teaspoon of sour cream half pickled jalapeño (la costeña)
And I am going to have a late dinner
I did change my eating habits for the American way, it does suit my schedule better.

In UK this would be considered a 3 course meal and charged a small fortune....
