i had a several minute conscious discussion, did you? it was initially mildly bored/amused by my terror. as with the apparent moses story firstly i was being shown the truth and process of death and secondly i was being told of my supposed destiny here and some of the reasons i was supposedly given this life path.
i've had uniquely experienced 'channeled teaching' spanning 40 years since i learned how to gain knowledge from deeper mind areas (not from that source pushing that death experience on me).
for a useful comparable story google: 'jane roberts the nature of personal reality'. she was a prodigious author on the topic. her works taught me and ended up in a uiversity library for study. mine exist but only one 'book given to teach me how to write a book' was fully published back in 1983.

Whether is was continued punishment from the Israelite's God, results from bad karma, or just plain bad luck, the Pharoses along with Egypt had tons of problems after the times of Moses. The Assyrians, Greco-Romans, The Roman Empire, Byzantines, The Ottoman Empire, The French, Great Britain. Egypt has been occupied more times than a bad girl's bed.

There are religious people without faith and
there are people that have faith and not religion.
Are there any people that have both faith and religion?
Faith and religión are two different matters:
Faith is born inside the people and has not frontiers, not limits and subdue to nothing.
Religion is an external stereotype that fits a group of people and rejects other group of people/religion.
When people claim that their religion is better than the others (when in fact no religion is good to humanity in the way humans are taking them), religions provoke polarization (division) of humanity.
