DonPepperoni: What happens when he´s brewed it?
conversing Ok, I'm cornered... Moses didn't brew coffee blushing... Coffee was discovered as a drink over a thousand years after Moses. The earliest credible evidence of either coffee drinking, or knowledge of the coffee tree appears in the middle of the 15th century, in the Sufi Monasteries of Yemen... The Flintstone's Coffee Grinder.

lifeisadream: How did she know “This is one of the Hebrews’children"?

Israel’s Suffering in Egypt

Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; 16 and he said, “When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him;

So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.”

wave Hey Miss dream... There are many grey areas in history. What is legend, myth, literal history ?... If it weren't for civilizations like the Greeks that kept excellent records, I doubt if we would know anything past a thousand years. Some beliefs have to be taken by faith. Even the modern Egyptians of today, call the written history of Egypt before the period of the Pharoses : 'Extremely disturbing', because the written chronology includes that gods reigned over Egypt from 33,894 to 23,642 BC. I personally believe that such entities did exist early in the civilizations of earth. From my understanding, the 'Book Of Enoch' was left out of the King James translations of the Hebrew text, because it was just too outrageous and had no immediate application for modern times and it was primarily followed by the Ethiopians and written in Ethiopic language. Of course, the Book Of Enoch includes Angels or God type entities that mingle amongst humanity and breed with humans... When history is really old, it's difficult to grasp as truth sometimes... Still waiting to see my first fire breathing dragon... frog

It would seem, that in early civilization: Humans were so new and fresh, we a creature so amazing and unique above all other animals, why in written history: Include Giants, Angels, Gods and Demons, if they didn't exist ?... Getting back to the era of Moses: It is true that the Hebrew texts are the only writings about the times that lead-up to the exodus and the times after the exodus... There is very little about it from any Egyptian, whether it is authentic or not, there is one bit of information, a papyrus dating from the end of the old kingdom that was found in the early 19th century in Egypt. It seems to be an eyewitness account of the old kingdom. Its author, an Egyptian named: Ipuwer, writes: *Plague is throughout the land. Blood is everywhere. *The river is blood. *That is our water! That is our happiness! What shall we do in respect thereof ? All is ruin! *Trees are destroyed. *No fruit or herbs are found. *Forsooth (In truth, Indeed), gates, columns and walls are consumed by fire. *Forsooth, grain has perished on every side. *The land is not light.

pedro27: did Moses glow after talking with God..?...

god talked with me in a genuine death encounter and i didn't glow during or afterwards. that reality i peered so timidly into did though. so, maybe he did, maybe he didn't? we talked for several minutes before i ran out of questions and was returned here.

i was initially asked a single question and it shocked me profoundly. it was simply "what do you want to do with the rest of your life?"

"LIVE IT" seemed pretty relevant in that moment.

i also tried experimentally to write a book of better tenets than 'the ten commandments'. ended up with two credible books on it actually. first was 'LifeGuide...'. it began with the question: "could i write a better book than the ten commandments".

the second was: "the new commandments of the gods we really are." they weren't that bad but they sit ignored and rot in my spare room unpublished. this second book began as an exploration topic on the nature of time.

so, what's yr interest in moses... pedro?

That could have been anything, including war made by those fresh and new humans.

The “history” of religions traces them to a point where the 3 major religions had a common starting point.
Would the "Abrahamic" religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) ever have a meeting point in the (future-history) a tolerance point and an acceptance point for people to believe what ever they want to even if that is not true or scientifically proven?

Religion or belief is a powerful tool, the problem is finding something credible to believe in to tap into this power which is within all of us.
