Now that I know the definition of "Troll", me thinks that could be a part of it. Last year I posted a thread (for the humor of it) and got a very negative response to it. Since then there has been numerous threads basically referring to the same topic. All with just the opposite response. Some how It seems to be more about who is posting it and not so much the content. Truly some need to lighten up and think about how they are making people feel with some of the their responses. JMO

From what I've seen of some on here, they give up. Others find their partner and no longer need to be here. I am one of those.
Some find that they have success using other media or even actually meeting people in the real world, and no longer need this.
Some others still get a life and don't need to hang out on these kinds of sites any more.
Enough reasons, I suppose....

Yep. I agree. Most threads have the intellect that is lower than that of a goldfish.
Most people post stuff that even a 3 year old would be embarrassed to publish.
People can't handle real conversation (maybe that is why many of them are still single?).
I feel very sad for the future of humanity if what is mostly posted is a glimpse into the future of dating and relationship seeking. No wonder there are a lot of women that ever wonder if they will meet a real man, and men who ever wonder if they will meet a real woman.
What is even sadder is that these people actually think they are somehow funny and clever with their nonsense threads....
