Well the first time I died, because I wasn't technically dead just visiting, I was flying over these folks shuffling through the tunnel when towards the gates at the end of it, one of the guards looked up and saw me. He reached up with a dozen arms and tried to pull me down. Once he touched me, I knew him. Cerberus the guard dog.

It was a mighty struggle with him trying to pull me down to the floor of the tunnel (which would have killed me), and me pulling back and trying to haul him out of the tunnel. Of great interest was that there were more than one guards in the Hall of the dead. The struggle with the Cerberus that had snagged me attracted great interest on the part of the other Guardians. All had dull human form male and female and had been mistaken previously for the other dead shuffling forward for weighing. But now they revealed themselves and stretched six or more arms up to also grab me. Luckily I was already out of reach of most of them. As the struggle intensified some of the dead also began to realize where they were and reverse their steps. The other Cerberus showed those folks no mercy and transformed into giant mulit-headed pit bulls and tore those reluctant sould apart, while other less aware folks continued to shuffle forward around the struggles.

What I believed had saved me was before beginning the Trance, in real world I had placed an iron dagger by my side. With great effort while also still battling Cerbrus on the Astral plane, my real world right hand was able to touch then grab the iron dagger.

Against Iron none of the mystical beings have power. I zoomed upwards and back out of the tunnel. The poor Cerberus was now howling and pleading as I began to drag it out. Although I had a concept of drag it into the real world, this was not meant to be. The shorter my distance left to travel, the more damaged the guard thing was taking. Great pusy sours that oozed smoke, Awful howls with whispers of rewards if I release it,, etc. II felt sorry for it and I tightened my grip on the real world iron dagger and released the Cerberus and snapped back into my bedroom.
