Interesting as there's a relatively smaller number of socalled Alpha Females ( your suggestion that they're unwilling to commit for fear of financial loss makes them sound pathetic in their attachment to money) and it seems to me that those women tend to only marry the super rich anyway ... thereby enhancing their wealth rather than actually being much at risk themselves.
But, increasingly, and certainly across the western world it's WOMEN who are instigating divorce / civil union / de-facto separations and a large nunber seem perfectly willing to sit out the time period after which they qualify for a 50% property claim.
Perhaps you just unwitting gave us the truth ... women are more interested in money and property than they are interested in men???
