Well, I unblocked him and got an answer as to why he didn't show up that night. A valid one I supposed.
Anyway, I just have to be patient and not rush into things or conclusion which I tend to do a lot... which can be very detrimental to a budding relationship.

The bit about being patient and not rushing into things or drawing conclusions is probably something a lot of folks are guilty of and I'm no exception. Thing is, this tendency might happen if someone has been through some rough past relationships and they've become much more careful and questioning the next time around and instead of serving us well, it ends up sabotaging a potential relationship. Anyway, that's only one of probably a few reasons...I can think of more but won't get into it just now. I like what Ocee posted above though...it really makes a lot of sense. 
I'm glad you've given him another opportunity to make amends and I hope that he will be mindful of how delicate a budding relationship can be and works with you on this.

I think it depends....if I do not really see him as "long term" potential I might gripe a little but still see him now and then
If we had a long standing relationship though, it could be the end of it , yes
OR were it a brand new, yes it would end immiediately. With a brand new person I will end it if I am stood up even once ...sometimes w/out explanation
