If this is your case,Are you very conscious of your accent when you speak another language? I am not, to be honest. When I speak English I am worry about the pronunciation so that I am understood rather than my accent.I really want to pronounce everything correctly. At the moment, I know my accent sounds rather Spanish in English. Also, I have friends from different countries and I love their accent when they speak English (and they are awesome).

LIV22: A foreign accent shows that you can either speak another language, or at least, you are trying.
I love the Finnish accent, my ex gf had a beautiful accent though she insisted she had none, and spoke perfect english, we invented our own language Fenglish, a mixture of English and Finnish. Oh happy days

We do not care about accent ...the important is to be able to exchange with others , right ?
