online today!online today!rohaanCoos Bay, Oregon USA229 Threads 10,514 PostsHey everybody--maybe some of you remember that about two years ago, give or take, I was talking about, (and asking you about), getting either a box turtle or a small tortoise. Many of you suggested a tortoise over the turtle, as they are for the most part, somewhat easier to care for. WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL...the last week of August I had to go to Portland for a family function, and as serendipity would have it, there was also a reptile show going on. I am now the proud new owner of a small "forest" tortoise. He is so cool. So, that's how THIS story ends. Or begins....Thanks again for all who either gave turtle stories or advice, etc...If you are not really interested, that's cool, but if so, I'd like to talk to any of you who may have turtle/tortoise experiences.
