Language has been traced back THROUGH various incarnations, BEYOND the point at which it began to be written down. And Greek, just like EVERY OTHER language, has roots in languages that preceded it. Back to languages that EXISTED BEFORE there were ANY "GREEKS" (or Macedonians, or Hellenes). Or even the IDEA of a "Greek". Methinks you are a bit ego and ethnocentric, my friend.
