I'd have to say either the Irish or the Scottish. I can understand the Brits and Aussies most of the time. Haven't heard the Kiwis speak very often. The Canucks don't seem to have a real strong accent sans the French. Watching a BBC series with some hearing loss can be a challenge sometimes. Plus some of the words and phrases they use are not in common usage here in the US. Any particular accent you find hard to understand?

I have friends of family living south of the Ohio border in Harlan county and Lovely Kentucky. They need to take the chew out of their mouths before they speak. I can never understand them, and the Italians living behind the Irish general stores down there in the hollers of Boomer and Kermit, West Virginia.

Since I've lived here in Ohio I have a hard time understand the people in the South even when I've visited Kentucky and Tennessee I have had a hard time understand on how some people pronounce certain terms. There's a tower as one is heading Southbound on 75 towards Tennessee and it has the words "Florence Ya'll".I get a kick out the words whenever I've passed it.

I've been afraid to go to the Appalachians ever since I watched Deliverance. Even though it was filmed in Northern Georgia. I used to think my god those people seem ignorant, then I watched Jack Taylor on Netflix and it clicked. White trash is white trash gal every state has them, as well as all the English speaking countries. But that's not exactly what I was asking.

This area was sellted by Scot-Irish-English so we can blame the poor English on them bear. But yeah some speak so slow I can't understand them either. It is even harder to understand the Cajuns in Louisiana.

Yep, it’s Melk and pop. I lived in a we little town named Byron (genesee cty) while I finished my undergrad work between Mott and and U-Mich. I still have family in Byron, Lansing and Dearborn (and they do not accept sharia law.).

I spent most of my early childhood in Pontiac, MI, then we moved to Arizona.

I love to learn more about the native Indian life. Since my daughter first time had a nightmare( as a little girl), I've put in her bedroom Indian dream catcher that takes all nightmares away and that self suggestive beliefs helped her ...not to wet the bed. Now she's inspired to use some of native Indian simbols in the art. I find it fascinating spiritual treasure to learn about all natives mythology, the way of life and beliefs.

Hi rainbow I didn't know anything about my native ancestry until the year 1999.All I had to start with was my late father's death certificate. I had idea that I was a descendent of two Indian Chiefs through my late parents.
