I'm just glad I'm not into the foundation/heavy lipstick and rouge because if a guy thought I naturally looked like that then I would feel that I would have to be made up 24/7 too scared for him to see what's under all my makeup.

Kudo's to those who are confident to wear makeup..I see woman at the gym all made up all sweaty with it smudged all over them it looks horrible.

On special occasions I will wear a very small smudge of navy blue eyeliner on the bottom corner of my eyes as I have dark blue eye's mascara on my top lashes only and a clear lip gloss.

I keep the focus on my outfit so to speak.

Mercedes_00: But to me that's covering up the real woman.

I couldn't imagine a guy wanting to eat makeup.
Imagine the two of u at the opera. U start crying, and hide ur face on his jacket. Afterwards u both have to leave because of the way his jacket is soiled...... or stay ?

Was in a hurry to go out and was putting away my cell phone into my bag...
U r allowed an opinion,

serene56: I noticed a blog similar to this, and many women seemed to find it necessary to declare how they either used minimal makeup or none at all

Did I miss the memo re makeup being outlawed
Hi Serene....I don't use any make-up,
and as far as I'm concerned u can use and do whatever u feel like,
but from most men,
I understand that they prefer make-up free women,
or just a lipstick, and some eye liner.....
All that other stuff they plaster their faces with,
rubs off on their clothing when they get too close.....

It's not true, that women only wear make up to hide hideously ugly looks. Same way its not true they only wear perfume to mask a terrible smell. Indeed, they don't just dress up in nice clothes to hide a plain body.

An ugly woman wearing make up, looks like an ugly woman wearing make up. Us guys are actually right on to it.

Whether women choose to wear alot of make up..minimal make up or no makeup its all a choice and i dont see why men even come into the equation when it comes to this choice...no more than they can choose what clothes i wear.

No one is better than the other because of their own personal choices....i dont see the need to create a 'war' between women as to who is better than who and thats what this thread feels like to me.

Theres enough bull going on besides creating drama over bloody make up .

serene56: Each to their own Snooks

I don't wear makeup to attract men, I simply like to look my best every day, it's a feelgood thing for me

And I use perfume every day too, hope that's still legal
As I said before and now again:-

Any person anywhere,
can do whatever they feel like
If they do it for themselves fine
If they do it for appearance
and it makes them feel better
Fine too....

We r All individuals....

No two people r the same anywhere.....

If u want to be a sheep fine too.....

Maiana: Most of the time I don't wear anything else but a lip gloss (sometimes accompanied with mascara). I do wear it when I go out in the evening, attend some event, etc. But I never wear it for too long. I remove it the moment I come back home. I have a sensitive skin prone to allergies, so I try not to irritate it too much. On my profile photo I wear makeup, but this is the most I would ever wear. So, most of the time I am without makeup actually and constantly look at the real me in the mirror.
I hardly ever look in a mirror, except maybe to check my clothes.....I too have a very sensitive skin....and if I put on makeup I feel plastered...and that my skin can't breath.....Even using cream on my hands and body, burns me most of the time....

Maiana: I sometimes think that the sensitivity and allergies get worse as we age.
It is true, as I used to wear some makeup when a teenager, but then stopped....It is better to look like urself anyway...not airbrushed with makeup....
