I disagree with this thread and I will explain why….Some posters are a bit shy or reserved about agreeing or disagreeing with another, because they don’t want the backlash, so they opt to use the thumbs up option or thumbs down if they disagree with a post….This saves them getting into arguments, other posters trying to attack them personally etc...
If you are that hyper sensitive about getting thumbs down on your posts, then you should consider a few things… First you use unnecessary profanity… Second you often get personal with others, who don’t agree with you… Third you sometimes start childish arguments…instead of sticking to the thread subject…. Fourth you are always virtue signalling and agreeing with your clique on their opinions, but never once disagreeing with them on anything(this would display you as being an independent thinker and not part of a collective mindset)…. Lastly….not writing cry baby threads about getting virtual thumbs down for your posts might help… Not everyone will agree with my post, but guess what? It does not matter to me…nor to many others, who post on this site…

I will leave you with
You have the right to speak your mind Lee. As do I. I am not playing a tatical game. Unlike you even in your own admission.
I speak on here as I do off here. You always have the option not to read me :)
Rachie14: I think there needs to be a modification on this. That being, you cannot hide who agrees and who disagrees on the forum.
When entering into a discussion to me the point is that you are actually discussing a topic.
I find the current option an opportunity for cowards. That being, it is easy to mask yourself online and actually select this option on a basis of an individual. Rather than the actual discussion. Creating no further expansion on a thread.
I have sat and watched people disagree on someone actually going to bed. I mean really? Lol On evidence cited online. I am not a forum politics person as a rule. But this is an action of a coward in my view.
Hit disagree ;)
A number of years ago, the forums had the thumbs up/thumbs down feature and removed the feature when it was abused. I suspect it will happen again.....so round and round we go.

A bit like fashion? Circles and fads. If people stopped doing it. Then like with children you don't need to remove the toy

I’m about 50% in agreement with your agree/disagree position for wanting full disclosure of this feature’s users. The other 50% is about well and handicapped people who wish to make a statement without getting into the discussion.
One friend of mine has ALS. she has motor control of only one hand and uses an onscreen keyboard on her computer by way of a mouse. It’s easier for her to just hit one button (agree or disagree) without having to stress with typing a lot of dialog. For what it’s worth....

galrads: ALS is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a.k.a. Lou Gehrig‘s disease. People once diagnosed with this disease usually have a 2 to 5 year life expectancy.
My friend can’t talk easily because she has a tracheotomy and a positive pressure ventilator of sorts.
Most people with ALS lose the ability to speak, eat, move and breathe.
Thanks for explaining this. I understand your point of view now.
Rachie14: Oh please Lee. Don't play so naive when you are fully aware of this. It isn't actually a disagreement with what the person has said. But who they are.
After all how do you disagree that someone is going to bed? Or facts that are actually printed facts for information sharing on a topic that is not the person'a actual thought.
I'm not playing...people have the right agree on disagree with another...It seems a bit paranoid to think, that others don't disagree with your comments and instead have other reason to thumb you down

You do realise I personally don't believe a word you say anymore. That is of your own making. Everyone else can believe what they want.

I never told you had to...I disagree with a lot you post and doubt your being honest very often....I'm not looking for others to agree with me, but they seem to often

Just keep playing tatics Lee. It's in your posting history love. You and people like you are part of the reason this topic exists.
Because you don't know how to place nice with others. That doesn't mean you have to agree with anyone. But you don't have to play games either.

Good luck with that
I play nice often with other, but recently you have not been playing nice with others and you were using profanity....
No playing....I tell you how it is and you can't accept, that I admit to disagreeing with a lot of your posts and tell you why I think you get a lot of thumbs down... Your playing games with yourself, because maybe you like games and like drama
Rach speaking of thumbs up a couple of days ago I gave everyone the thumbs up at Woolies
Across the road from the gym there's a small shopping centre so I put my lotto on went to the fruit shop was over loaded with veges & fruit.
As I went to waddle for my bus as it was way too heavy to walk home I remembered I needed to duck into Woolies for some fresh dates.
I toss a plastic bag over my hand to wade through all the dates in the box as I like soft dates..Waddle to the self serve checkout..I don't have my bloody purse..I dropped all I had where I was standing raced back to the dates..There lying opened on the floor was my purse.

Yeah well , we used to have the function years back , more the place changes the more its the same . This time its harder to see , used to be bigger and red . For some reason the thumbs are not showing properly and have to be highlighted usually while pushing the reply button .
A lady told me she accidentally gave me the thumbs down when her phone dropped in her handbag..I wouldn't of known I just said I don't sweat the small stuff.
People can keep clicking dislike to my going to bed giff's it's not going to stop me from going to bed
The feature is here I hope they add a middle finger feature
