Bogart_1960: “While we are free to choose our actions, we are not free to choose the consequences of our actions”.

When we join CS or any online platform , we pretty much agree that the concept of “freedom of speech” will be abused and restricted (mods, terms, etc) . Its a choice, and we have to accept the consequences of our choice.

Regarding CS, what I like about CS is that it is a mirror of society/world. It is not a social club nor a "Group therapy", even if it might provide both. CS is a social platform full of babble, (even if means post out of context -done that too), filed with nice people who just don't know how to express themselves, or dont have the patience to "type", as it is not what they are here for. Regarding forums/blogs, most people on CS offers nothing but supportive opinions, and no matter what we say, or how trivial they may seem.

But there is also a negative side. As an open platform, CS is also filled with many uneducated, demeaning, creepy people who berate individuals/race/credos in order to feel better about their own lives, a life in which they have little or no control or confidence. Nothing we can do about them, as they live life blindly through a narrow, dogmatic coward context.

as Voltaire said, "It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere."

Life has meaning, but that comes from within. There is nothing that gives direction or purpose to our life besides our own free will (or a perfect illusion of free will). we are responsible for our actions.

enjoy life.

Can you both stop now?

Riz, I don't see the lie? I see her saying to keep her choice of lifestyle she needs to work full time. That to go to part time or to retire means moving to live within the means for the lifestyle she has become acustomed to or to change her lifestyle.

That's what I see.

I am not taking sides here. But I think it's about time this stopped being personal. If anything this validiating the reason for a licence or at the least a block button.

rizlared: Oh that is so sad, but why stop there? Why not tell everyone about the lies you told and how when I exposed you, you tried to turn your friends against me?

You have a problem with the truth, for example, a few months ago you discussed about Tax reform Trump may do, that he would help you as you were in the top 7% of earners, you then later on boasted about buying a top of the range SUV, finally a couple of weeks back you started talking about how you cannot stop working as you needed the money. "Right now I am tired of working full time just so I can continue traveling but if I stop working I would live very miserly and that is not an option that is favorable for me." From one of your blogs.

You even said you may have to live in the Philippines as if that was a step backwards, shame on you for turning your back on your birthplace. Please stay in the USA, I may even help finance you if it means those of us who love the Philippines can live without your presence.

So yet again I have pointed out your lies, and you wonder why I have no respect for your credibility.

You really think any of your posts affect me? Not really, other than as entertainment to see you blush

I didn't ask you to post on my thread, that was your decision so don't make a fuss when it backfires onto you
That's the best you can do to attack on a personal level. Shame on you !

rizlared: You are free to express whatever opinion you want, I am free to ignore those opinions.

But please refrain from using derogatory terms on my thread, thank you. LetUS knows no better, but you on the other hand, are always saying how bad it is to badmouth others. Unless it only works one way
rolling on the floor laughing You're REALLY hilarious, Riz! You ask Lindsey NOT to use derogatory terms! And you say I KNOW NO BETTER! So WHEN did calling people "useless: and "unintelligent" STOP being derogatory? You have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how fatuous your posts are, DO YOU, Riz? You complain about OTHERS DOING THE EXACT SAME THINGS YOU'RE DOING! And TRY to represent yourself as the "RIGHTEOUS" one! And the SAD thing is, that YOU BELIEVE yourself! You're an egotistical elitist, with an inferiority complex! You're a REAL "work of art", Riz! But KEEP POSTING! You're getting to be as funny as LeeNOTSOCharming! rolling on the floor laughing banana yay

Yep more reasons to have a licence. Due to grudges and lack of self control.

Deffo an advocate for it personally.

Rachie14: I'll draw your attention to the troll thread. Where I on my own actually was having an opinion. What did you do when I was addressing this with the OP? You decided to continually hound me. Quoting me, mocking me for my opinions. Calling me names, provocking me. Until I gave you back what you dished Rainbow. Don't think it didn't go unnoticed your threat to troll any threads I make.

But that's what you do. You intentionally, willfully go out of your way to hound people. Then you get your friends to join in. Like you did on Tommy Robinson thread. To the degree people like me make the choice to stop posting in certain threads. You know why? You don't want to have a discussion, you don't want to hear others opinions. You want to shout yours, no matter how you do it. Then scream hit the report button when others are actually expressing their views. Nobody is against free speech as much as you are. I mean nobody.

I don't post in your threads for a reason and others. Because I really cannot be bothered to continually deal with you. The reason I have remained in this thread is because it was a discussion. Well, even at your first attempts to change that. Deflect love, scream false claims
You do that a lot. You don't see it as a form of oppression. I do, others do. In fact they are going out of there way to avoid you for it.

But hey, you keep telling me it's restricting your freedom of speech. Whilst your tatics supress many members. Either way, make a choice. Ignore me or keep getting told your behaviour is unacceptable to me. You choose.
You are unbelivable manipulator, everything you do - you accuse others off. rolling on the floor laughing
Have you been trained by Antifa. rolling on the floor laughing
You are a joke.

Rachie14: Yes dear, when you start prentending your an adult. I'd like a block button. But as it isn't available. Perhaps you would like to stop thinking the forum is soley yours. That there are other people to consider.

Carry on. I really do have things I need to do today.

ChesneyChrist: Think of the 60s and 70s and the madness that ensued from their suddenly being no rules anymore. But this calmed down eventually. We didn’t comoletely ditch the values of the 60s and 70s but we learned to live with them as people became more sensible and worthy of freedom.
......and what do you know about those two decades?confused

You have to give these things time. The historic and well-documented baby boomer crime wave went on from the 1960s right up until the mid 1990s, when the youngest boomers turned 30. You have to give these things time.

"Last April, Twitter sued the federal government. At issue was a demand from the Department of Homeland Security that Twitter reveal the user(s) behind an account critical of the Trump administration. The government withdrew its request the next day, and the issue seemingly drew to a close. But this is not the end.
The DHS request came on the heels of another Trump administration move that could be viewed as hostile to internet freedom. On April 2, President Trump signed a bill passed last month releasing internet service providers (ISPs) like Verizon and AT&T from having to protect consumer data, in effect jeopardizing people’s privacy and opening them up to surveillance. And FCC Chair Ajit Pai is planning to weaken net neutrality rules, which would allow ISPs to create fast lanes for preferred internet traffic while slowing other traffic sources.
“If we don’t have net neutrality, the ISPs could slow people who are talking about, for example, going to a rally,” says Kate Forscey, associate counsel at Public Knowledge, a free speech organization. “It’s not just about streaming Netflix—it’s about fundamental engagement in a democratic environment.” Against this backdrop, the DHS’s attempt to strong-arm Twitter looks less like a defeat and more like a testing of the waters."
