Well, some things make me sad, the old dog that resides near my office, the chopped down trees to make a parking lot...the angry little people who think everyone owes them something...the young boys and girls who walk against you like bulldozers in a line...people who don't care about the future of their country...
Manchester is the homeless capital of the U.K. despite doing well as a city. It makes me sad to think of what could have been when you see a man passed out on the steps of Primark.
And I think that’s what makes me sad. Knowledge of beauty and what could be. The productive potential of modern industry is so enormous and what does it translate to? A new iPhone.

Fark my country lub.... spent all my adult life working (not counting paper round or busting my arse in a butcher shop as a kid) my arse off .... Why?? ... To build a better country for the immigrants who are causing me constant pain
A few days ago on a (holiday) flight from Manchester to Varna (Bulgaria) a woman had a heart attack...the aircraft had just took off when that happened... Of course it had to divert back to Manchester... The person who told me that said he was utterly disgusted because the majority of passengers didn't give a f*ck about the woman...but only complained about the delay...

I'd like to help a homeless person if i knew i could trust them? I would treat it as marriage with some of the same vowels.. Tho shalt not steal ... and ... thou shalt not have more than one cat.

A lot of what was written above would make me angry rather than sad. Anger is a much more constructive emotion. It galvanises you to do something about it. Sadness doesn't.

You are right Molly, most of the time the sadness and anger go hand in hand...one reminds you you have a heart, the other to make a change...
