(riffing off the friends into)... By all means post the song if you please...but riddle me this, what piece of music above all others has never left your side (figuratively speaking), it could be a chart hit, an album (or any format), a live performance, whatever you deem it to be... What memories does it evoke, people that you are reminded of, life events, happy, sad, challenging... Music is my art form of choice, and has been for over 50 years... Every milestone in my life is marked with a song, and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts yours are too... As we say, discuss at your leasure... And as a side note... Mix-tapes, anyone still doing those?...
(I need a refresher on how to post from a phone... what’s the code needed??)
Hi Kay... I listened back to the Einaudi / Berlin, in places it reminded me of Neil Young, if that makes sense (after the goldrush)... I've not heard much Harry, I know him better as an actor, but in keeping with an open musical mind I'll listen up... Huh, the first true love, well now, that's got to be ripples by genesis, it's the song that got my girlfriend away from the bay city rollers and into 'prog', it was also 'our song' if you know what I mean... Other songs!, well, that's for another day... ....and id still do a mix tape....
D- so glad you were safe ~~ Does anyone know about posting videos from a phone?? I can’t find the thread about it. Anyone on a laptop that can help me search for it?

Alice Cooper - How you gonna see me now.
Bet I heard it over 10.000 times. Since I first saw the videoclip on television in '78 I knew immediately he would be my hero, and he still is, seen him performing live almost 20 times now. Last year Rolling Stone Magazine voted him as the best solo-artist, I felt very proud for him. He is my God. Also he is one of the most overlooked composers, the radio hardly play his songs and if they do they play something from 20-40 years ago as if he hadn't composed many songs since Poison in '88.
So most people don't know a lot of his songs, thinking he only makes loud music while he has written a ton of Ballads.

Ah yes, Alice... Schools out holds a special significance for me, it was the beginning of my' completest' period as a record buyer, something that followed the for the next 30 years or so...from 'pretties for you' up to 'muscle of love', presently, I just have 'love it to death' and 'the last temptation', I also have the 4cd set 'the life and crimes' which has some excellent early versions of album mixes... After muscle of love, I discovered ELP, Genesis and King Crimson, and then my musical path/trajectory was set, until I discovered the joy of YouTube and how it opened up a whole other world of music...
