mollybaby: Any good Oz ones?
I try to avoid Oz made ones to be honest. I tend to find the direction and acting rather over-acted and pretentious. Off hand i can't think of a single comedy movie they've made in which i've enjoyed
They've made a few old classics worth watching though, namely ...
Picnic At Hanging Rock Phar Lap
Nothing else springs to mind at this time ... at least among those i've actually watched

I've seen Picnic and the more recent series based on it too.
What about Priscilla, Queen of the Desert , Muriel's Wedding, Proof , the Piano and that one , what was it called. ,The Dish?
Oh, and Babe of course
I hadn't realised how many Oz films I've seen.
I forgot Mad Max as well.
And that film that Pat used to use the character as his profile pic. I can't remember the name though

Seems you know more about Oz movies than i do molly ... Actually i've never watched any of those you mentioned ... at least all the way through out of lack of interest ... except for "Babe" which had escaped my memory at the time or writing. Yes, that was a good one and probably their best comedy movie ... if it can literally be categorised as a "Comedy" ?.
I started to watch "Mad Max" once many years ago. Wasn't long before i stopped and changed channels
By the way, i never knew about a "Picnic At Hanging Rock" series was even around ?. Probably a Pay channel production, in which may eventually find its way onto regular TV. Anyway as it happens, it was believed the story was fictional, but there's evidence coming out that it was based on fact and that the Writer based her story around what a relative had told her from his time in the Police force having been serving in the Picnic Rock area at the time of the "incident".

I've seen some of Breaker Morant" ... probably the last half. Didn't bother to watch it all the way through again. Besides some of the Oz actors seem to be used in just about every movie being made and i find that a distraction for one thing. But the main problem i tend to find with Aussie War movies, is that they always make themselves out to be the good guys and the "heroes", whereas they downplay the efforts of those from other nations ... almost to the point of making their allies look incompetent in comparison to themselves ... another Oz movie "Gallipoli" that i've watched springs to mind here
