I know this thread has been posted before in the past but I am hoping to hear from the new members as well as the older members. Maybe your list has changed or maybe you've already accomplished one or more of your dreams.

So what's on your bucket list?

yay

Drive, not fly, across the country ( US) and stop & look at anything I find interesting. I could happily be gone for 6 months!

I would love to do the same. Drive some sort of camper or winnebago so I can stop and camp along the way.

I don't like to fly, I've done it but I don't do it often.

You never know, anything is possible.
Have you suffered from any of the bad storms?

Yes, last year Hurricane Florence destroyed the North Carolina island of Top Sail where my daughter lives.

As of now I live 10 minutes from the shore line. My roof was damaged. A lot of trees came down in my area.

We are now hoping that the storm that is out there now won't turn into a major hurricane.

Oh my goodness! I feel so bad for you and everyone affected. Thank goodness you and hopefully your daughter are ok.

Carolina coast is beautiful but the sea is treacherous. As we get older its much harder to deal with it. Wish you the best.

I honestly prefer the New Jersey coast. The beaches are clean sand, the water is beautiful with white caps, the rock jetties that protrude out into the ocean, it's just my idea of home.

I don't go to the coast down here. There are very high sand dunes that are supposed to keep the water away from your property but last year with Florence it didn't work too well. You either have to climb over he dunes or go up wooden stairways that they built to get over the dunes. Not as pretty as the Jersey coast.

I don't have a bucket list.

I'll do what ever I decide I might want to do or try as opportunity and personal drive permit.

I've done quite a bit already over time. Many have done so much more.

I've done some thrilling things though I'm not a thrill seeker. I've enjoyed natural sceneries and landmarks with many more left unseen. I've enjoyed some travels around and out of country with hundreds of other places never visited.

Simplicity is still where my heart truly lives. We can't do or see it all no matter what we want. There will always be more to do and see. Man made land marks, big ben, the leaning tower of pisa, washington d.c. monuments and such, do nothing for me.

I enjoy the long and short motorcycle rides to new and old roads locally and beyond during the riding season. The sunrises and sunsets. Time spent at the sports club with my fire arms. Going out to the occasional concert, dinner, or movie. Amusement and theme parks. Visiting friends and/or family. The cook outs, bonfires, cards around the table. Children still bring personal enjoyment with their conversations and interactions with each other.

What do I need a bucket list for? When all is said and done at the end of the day, I'm surrounded by many things that do my heart and over all well being good.

I'm not sure I would do well with out my work schedule either. None of it's perfect including me. I like to appreciate what's already around me and it doesn't require a list to be filled. I should definitely find some things to help improve the winter months. Maybe that's my best time to relax before spring thaw to start getting things ready for the running seasons all over again.
