Glaucoma is very serious and I'm glad you took care of it.
The worrying doesn't help. When I get frantic I read all the instructions over and over to make sure I didn't miss something. All the do's and dont's will be going on for 30 days.
The drops start this Friday in preparation. Surgery is next Monday
By coincidence at the end of the 30 days I'm supposed to move to an apartment.
Something I enjoy.......I love thinking about the New Jersey shore That makes me remember all the good times my daughter and I vacationed down there every year until she was 17 years old. Very fond memories.
Thank you J7
Those sound like great memories!
I wrote out the directions short form, and put a copy in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom. Don’t wash your hair for a few days. Your hair will thank you.

I put the drops and schedule for drops in the bathroom cuz the light is bright in there and I'll be able to see what I'm doing.
I think I'll just stay out of the shower indefinitely and create a new stink fragrance

secretagent09: Hello Chambella......If you have already been told that you will need surgery for cataracts my guess is that you will be doing it within the next couple years. The first time an optometrist told me that he could see cataracts was six years ago. Apparently what was already showing got bad fast. My suggestion is that you see a different doctor to compare notes.
secretagent09: I will be having cataract surgery on my left eye the first week in October. Two weeks after that I will get the right eye done.
I'm worried and extremely nervous about this surgery. They can't give me general anesthesia (to put me to sleep) because they would have to intubate me (putting a tube down my throat to my lungs) so they will give me what is called Twilight Anesthesia. I've had that type of anesthesia before and I woke up both times in the middle of the surgery scared to death.
So, if anyone has had cataract surgery or you know someone who has had it I would appreciate hearing how it went for you.

Disgusting and totally inappropriate to post a video like that when it's obvious that the OP is already stressed enough about having this surgery done.
I watched part of it and just about lost my dinner
