I was focused on the headlamps
Harley sales are down because all of us who buy them, are getting too old to ride them. So they are now going after the fart popper brigade. Two new bikes..one electric and one that can do off road or on. The one I like the add on..when you stop for a light, it automatically lowers to 31 inches so no standing on tip toe to balance. Now that I could dig. Altho with my rat bike hard tail chopper...I can do better. Like stand flat footed. Na ha ha.

It's hard to believe they let the ladies so close to the cars... Those things don't always go in a straight line, nor do they always stay in one piece.. Especially on take off...

Just sold my 1960 Apache. Got price almost..took off 300. Father and son. I hung around for needs but mainly watched. They had gone home for trailer and tires on rims. Brought back huge tires. So watched them, jack up, dig under, wrench, hammer and fight. I said now you know why I sell as is. Too old for that crap anymore.
Then to get on trailer. With HAND come along!
Oh we have electric..but had to borrow this one cause new tires on theirs is rubbing.
So inch by inch up it went. Crooked so tenant had to use Suburban to pull it forward so trailer could back up farther. Finally all loaded and off they went. Almost dark. Like said, been there..NOT doing it again at this stage of the game. So another vehicle gone. Only 16 left to my name.
Guy called last night..his kid was so excited, left off working on his 77 and went after Apache. New ignition stuff and it is running. He wants to put it into survivor class.
Almost had a tear in my eye seeing it leave. Another dream bites the dust. Oh well. Back to my 76 and 49.
