I would apologize of course. I did ask a question, not a statement of fact. This post supports asking that question and I remember another identical one. ........................................

I don't care about the politic system in my country, as long as I can pay my bills and still live without much trouble.
There are people who are never satisfied with what they have, well, I'm completely happy with my life, the only thing missing is a woman.

look up the word constitution, look up the word republic . put the two together and you will understand the meaning of "constitutional republic".rolling on the floor laughing

I am glad I was able to find your post that you claimed didnt exist.

I would help you with "democracy" but you are not capable of grasping it.

I feel sorry for you.

‘DEMOCRACY IS TWO WOLVES AND A LAMB VOTING ON WHAT TO HAVE FOR LUNCH’ – DID BEN FRANKLIN SAY THIS QUOTE?
1:34 PM 05/29/2019 Aryssa Damron | Fact Check Reporter

An image shared on Facebook attributed four quotes about democracy to four different founding fathers – Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Hamilton.

Verdict: False

While the quotes attributed to Adams and Hamilton exist in the historical record, there is no evidence that Jefferson or Franklin said the statements this meme attributes to them.

Fact Check:

Social media users will often lean upon the prestige of America’s founding fathers by attributing political quotes to them. (RELATED: Did George Washington Say This Quote About A ‘Government’s Right To Govern’)

This image supposedly quotes four founders, each making a remark that is critical of democracy. We looked into the sayings, finding that while two can be ascribed to Adams and Hamilton, the quotes attributed to Jefferson and Franklin are spurious.

The saying ascribed to Adams comes from a letter he wrote in 1814.

“Remember Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes exhausts and murders itself. There never was a Democracy Yet, that did not commit suicide,” he wrote, before continuing, “It is in vain to Say that Democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious or less avaricious than Aristocracy or Monarchy. It is not true in Fact and no where appears in history. Those Passions are the same in all Men under all forms of Simple Government, and when unchecked, produce the same Effects of Fraud Violence and Cruelty.”

The quote attributed to Hamilton comes from remarks he’s recorded as making during the Constitutional Convention of 1787.

“We are now forming a republican government,” Hamilton said, according to one individual reporting on the event. “Real liberty is neither found in despotism or the extremes of democracy, but in moderate governments.” The meme does not include that final clause, and another attendee who transcribed the same speech did not include the quote in his notes.

The quotes from Jefferson and Franklin cannot be traced back to a particular speech or letter, or any written work for that matter.

Jefferson’s estate at Monticello lists the quotation – that “democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine” – on its list of “spurious quotations,” saying it has “no evidence to confirm that Thomas Jefferson ever said or wrote” this. The quote did not appear in a search of Jefferson’s collected works.

The quote ascribed to Franklin says, “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.” However, The Daily Caller found no instance of it in Franklin’s writings, nor does the statement appear in the National Archives‘ online database.

“I couldn’t readily find the quote in Franklin’s papers,” Thomas Kidd, a history professor at Baylor University, told the Caller in an email.

According to etymologist Barry Popik, the first half of the expression can be found in print as far back as 1987.

The closest Franklin comes to expressing this sentiment is where he writes in a 1773 letter, “There is Truth in the Old Saying, That if you make yourself a Sheep, the Wolves will eat you.”

Crony-capitalism is a rigged, economic game, which rigging includes the control that the U.S. Federal Reserve (a private banking firm) exerts over the U.S. economy, facilitated by the U.S. Treasury and the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Also, consider that real estate companies, lower-level banks, insurance companies, and your local county commissioners -- who determine what land will be zoned residential, commercial, or rural/farming, and often directly influenced by real estate, banking, and insurance companies as well as state-level politics -- are part of the rigging. Even the type of education that a person receives is part of the rigging.

Simply put, real capitalism is essentially the investment of money in the expectation of making a profit. In the early days of the U.S.A., strong individualism existed and there was a widespread belief in success through enterprise and initiative, which resulted in "industrial/farming/ranching" capitalism, which gave birth to the large business corporations of the late 19th century. However, as the nation developed further, especially during the New Deal of the 20th century, land was divided up and "legally" registered as taxable parcels, lots, etc., and a new form of capitalism, termed "managed capitalism," came into existence. Since the New Deal, the "lawful," crafty manipulation of managed capitalism by the efforts of previously powerful entities has emerged the latest version of capitalism, crony-capitalism, where the top 1% of Americans own as much wealth as the ever-shrinking middle class. Seems like that is a trajectory that just could produce a social collapse.

Capitalism is an economic concept - an idea - It is predicated on the idea that accumulating wealth is good.

Greed however is not so good in that it leads to uneven distribution of wealth within a community. It is Capitalists - those that practice Capitalism that need frequent morality checks. Or at least enforceable regulatory controls.

It was a popular lie in 90's by the conservatives that we could let business regulate itself and it would work!!!!!rolling on the floor laughing
Their lobbies actually tried to sell us that garbage!
When capitalism is not monitored in a sane and professional way it becomes a den of corruption. Dog eat dog, rat race and other terms eventually create social and material depravity and perverted values.
Poor monitoring creates monopolies, criminal behaviors, and economic collapse.
Many experts today believe the White House is has become a criminal enterprise. When one looks at Commander Bone Spurs behavior and morality, at the turnover and animosity in his personnel, at his incompetence in so many areas, the criminality becomes obvious. very mad

Winning ideas take all the profit they can whilst they can because it won’t be a winning idea for long. Facebook won’t be around anywhere near as long as Ford.

But Facebook could be the building of a Ford leading us to an invention of broad utility like the Model T and the highways. At the moment most of the capitalists are being destroyed by a few internet capitalists with the know-how to build the 21st century; it’s difficult to regulate that.

Wealth at its most corrupt is imo the landlord. When your neighbours enterprise raises the value of the land under your property and you live off that appreciation. It’s like striking oil without the oil.

And remember that you’re not Scandinavia. Relatively low levels of individualism and high levels of civic duty are the reason public organisation works. There’s a stronger element of Prince William in Scandinavia when the Anglo world is a Harry liable to cut up their own grandmother if it frees you to do what you want to do.

Slow and steady only wins the race when all the legs agree to it. To slow down progress is not enough unless it actually reduces destruction at a greater rate. What Scandinavia loses in gadgets it makes up for in not doing a murder. Before considering anything socialistic you have to consider whether the common good is something people actually do in your society. My fear of American social democracy is that the murder rate goes up and business is a swamp. Take the gadgets away from Americans and the murder rate goes up because it’s no longer distracted from one another. I’m sceptical of the common good in a context of ASBO and snowflake because neither is a civic virtue.
