service animals and emotional support animals are two different things.....service animals meet specific needs and are trained to meet those needs...emotional support animals are not.....i agree with them being banned and the craziness of any animal being an emotional support animal.....wave

galrads: It sounds to me like the passengers with animals usually don’t have to buy another ticket for a seat.
I don't think so either. Rather crowded would that be if the airplane had an emergency landing and everyone had to rush out.

I think people are just trying to beat the system, I think properly trained Dogs Should be allowed, with Proper Certificate of Training for that reason...And for that Person...

Some do need it, Many do not....Horses, Turdles, Goats Etc. should be eliminated as Service Animals... JMO

How do you feel about police drug sniffing dogs or dogs who assist finding missing persons?

As far as I know...these dogs are not mistreated...so I have no problem with itthumbs up

It's the animals...that are used for hard labour and mistreated badly...I oppose and animal rights organisations...still have so much work to do...to stop the poaching and killing of animals for sport

I don't like many things in North Carolina. One of them being that dogs are allowed to go into stores. Grocery stores, pharmacies, Home Depot. The handler uses the excuse that the dog is a therapy dog. If the dog doesn't have a therapy vest on saying the name of the organization that sponsors the dog then it's not a therapy dog. People don't want to leave their dogs at home and that's why they take them into stores the worst being the grocery store where their fur can fly onto the fresh vegetables and fruit.

I think it's about more than cheating the system. Dogs with long hair carry ticks, skin diseases, they shouldn't be allowed in stores. You'd never see that in the northern states.

Maybe not in the Northern states but some people suffer from severe depression, ptsd, etc and relies on their animal to help them live a more productive and happier life.

Frisky...I would like to commend you...on the way you host your threads and reply to every posterthumbs up You seem very calm and well balanced in your repliesthumbs up

I must admit...I can appreciate other animal lovers and would not get on well...with those...who don't have animals or like animals...

I have always had animals in my life and I think...that animals are much better to be around...than most humans...My pets make me smile every day...they enrich my life and each one of them has a different personalityyay
