If you give what you do not get back? Well thats a sorted story for most but Resentment sets in, then bad feelings occur
I have given quite abit in my lifetime, never expect anything back It all depends whether your 'expecting'........something Worth thinking about really...................expectations can be our downfall

Just Petey and the two cats. That's enough to deal with most days.
I do have a pair of ducks and a skunk that visit regularly, and some deer that come by occasionally as well. The mink and beavers haven't been over this year, yet, and I haven't seen the eagle that used to come by daily since last fall. The racoons are still around, but they're only out at night, so I don't see them. Not that any of these wild critters are pets, but they still come and hang out with me.

You wonder how the greatest managed to live so greatly when the future just got worse through no fault of their own. I think the answer is nobility. To live in such a way that you can be proud of yourself despite not being rewarded materally or financially - far from it. The admired and austere greatest generation are nothing like the hated and overpaid baby boomer.
More often that not it is that person who couldn't do enough to help you, it would see you that you are okay whilst starving themselves. Grace is one-sided isn't it; magnamous in victory, humble in defeat in some sense it is to do better than karma and like for like. You make the world a little bit better personally because the general condition of the world is terrible. That's how it works.

Nicely said until you spoke bad about the baby boomers who worked hard and may have been selfish but they had respect for others in the community.
