I have Channel #5 also. That was my mothers favorite. When dad went on business to Chicago he would go to the wholesale house and bring her back a bottle. I don't think many new scents can beat the old ones. So many smell alike. I like lilac, gardenia, hyacinth, ylan ylang and rose. I read that lavender is common and lilac rare because they can't make lilac. All lilac that you find are artificial.
Depends ... L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci sometimes... Floral fragrance from 'Mon Petit Atelier these last few weeks ... Amber rub on soap fragrance sometimes ... ...
All subtle fragrances as heavy one upset my senses and give me a headache ...
No matter what anyone says.... smelling good does not come on its own and aside from personal hygiene ... perfume is here to stay ... Developed an appreciation for it as I grew older... and my preferences are classic version of Lolita Lempicka for later in the day and Kenzo FLOWER for daytime ..
When I can afford it I wear Chanel No. 5.... Nothing like the classics. However, anything that smells fresh, clean and/or just plain good will do. I like musky fragrances.
Taralyn: No designer scents for me …… gives me a headache. I'm a Jovan Musk girl and have been for years. I wish a body spray was designed and smelled like "Freshly mowed grass" or "Hay", Maybe even "grinder" or "welder" to remind me of my dad...…
Ali or Pedro will be along shortly to head the line offering you a roll in the grass / hay !
