When I was studying in university it was pretty clear even at that time the human body on average has about 6 active viruses in a functional state although some are deactivated, all having the potential to cause serious illness...even patients who are closely screened to ensure they have no viral infections can obtain one easily for example like HPV or GH which are now quite common.

However, the families of these particular viruses are actually more important. They further found adenoviruses... lurkers hiding for years just waiting for an opportunistic time to attack the body when the immune system is down and organs are at risk.
