This song was on the flip side of a song that itself almost didn't make it because it was kind of strange. Bobby Lewis who made "Tossin & Turnin" also made this gem. It was on the flip side of "Mumbles Blues".

Here's another almost unknown song by non other than Fats Domino. Is it possible that a Fats Domino song is unknown? It just might be.

kris kros was all the time on MTV and dutch tv in the '90's, so not very unknown imo.
But it's not my type of music. I can put down here lots of great songs most of you never heard, most will be metal.

The Beatles....One After 909.
"One After 909” was one of the group’s most successful early numbers. It has the distinction of being recorded three times within months of its arrival, and was also cited in McCartney’s contemporary promotional letter. It became a regular in the group’s stage act (when Lennon-McCartney numbers were mostly still being shunned),
and was then captured twice on tape in the Cavern Club in 1962 (bootlegged).
But why was “One After 909” then consigned to the dustbin? The reasons are not clear; possibly the Beatles weren’t sure how to arrange it."

This song paints such a crystal clear picture with words that you can almost feel the warm Sun on your face and smell the flowers. It's like a trip way back in time to a place few of us have ever been, but we all can feel the sadness of having to leave a loved one.

I met this group "People!" in the sixties, I was just about 8 or 9, they were staying at my mom's best friend Mary's house as one of them, Tommy Tucker was Mary's nephew, I just remember being little and sitting in the middle of the sofa in Mary's massive house by myself and one of them was so stoned, he came walking in and had a fly swatter, he was real quiet and said he was looking for flies, he wanted to know if I had seen any, so funny. They were very sweet young musicians.
