Cranky_Geezer: That's not entirely true from my perspective. Let's say you're messaging typical friendly banter with maybe a touch of flirting. All of a sudden the other person switches to interrogation mode or twenty questions if you will. I'm not sure how the person being interrogated is responsible. I cannot answer for anyone else, but this has made me uncomfortable on more than one occasion. If I want you to have certain information I will volunteer it usually in anecdotal fashion.
If that happened to me, and my uncomfortable gut instinct kicked in, then I would feel that maybe the other person’s bad trait is slipping in. Just my opinion

I see what you mean! Anyone feeling they're being interrogated should demand to know what they're being charged with
I think some people approach internet dating like job applications where you have to review the candidates, short list them then 'interview' them ...
May be we should start 2 threads...
1. Women what makes you uncomfotable when guys are messaging you?
2. Men what makes you uncomfortable when women are messaging you?

Usually I would just change the subject if they continue to push the question I just say I have to go and log off . If it’s a very personal question I would answer with that a conversation for when we know each other better
