I don't like cake, but I'm rather partial to tomatoes.

As social events are restricted and I'm struggling with post-covid fatigue, my daughter suggested this morning that for my birthday she would shove a few candles in a tomato for me next time I'm minding my grandchildren.

She then asked me how old I am this year, whereupon the image of a vegetable model of a corona virus popped into my head...

I think the young man really did get his answer, without any words being spoken, or without any question being asked.

You're right! I felt the same!

The young man was in awe dumb struck but at the same time his perception expanded as you say without words, he received his message heart beating

Saw the video and enjoyed it to. Although it is nothing new that is being said. Simplicity is a key to life and happiness. It is the mindset,

It certainly brought back lovely memories when lots of friends and family of mine use to sit on the floor and play board games etc. Every now and then someone says something funny and we laugh. At first it is a just gentle laughter and of course someone can’t control their laughter and this catches on and everyone is suddenly laughing so much , that we are all holding our stomachs and literally rolling on the floor. We try to stop our laughter, it stops for a few minutes and then suddenly one person just cannot keep their mouth closed and despite all their efforts not to laugh , they burst out laughing. And again everyone is laughing in unison.

Must admit have not laughed outrageously like that for some time.
Thanks Sel

And with other people.

The best part is that there is always someone very serious . And they look at everyone as they were crazies. And gradually they smile a bit and of course they also join in the laughter. Eventually!!
True story. I can picture my Mum being like that.

laugh

I nearly had a very early divorce from the father of my children (in the UK) when we had a visit from some French relatives of mine and we were on the floor chatting and laughing, but my husband had gone to bed, and we had one of those "impossible to stop laughing, cant's breathe but can't stop laughing moments, then you'd regain your composure and someone would say just one word and off you go again … laugh

Well my husband was not amused which made it even funnier … rolling on the floor laughing
Well done your Mum for joining in! applause

I laughed a bit when you said ‘father of my children ‘. !
Instead of my Ex husband. Though you do say my Husband at the end.!

You know something, next we have a gathering of friends and family, I will make an effort to create an atmosphere where all of us do end up laughing and rolling on the floor.

I had 2 husbands (not at the same time laugh ) … one of them was the father of my children … so I always say "the father of my children" … he's not a husband and he's not mine dunno
