Dan_777: Strangely enough, we were discussing that topic on the blogs a couple of days ago.

I have seen some orbs 2 or 3 times in my life, when I was in danger, and they made me feel at peace.

They're supposed to be our spirit guides.
Hey thanks Dan_777

The bar is open 24/7 here, so pull up a chair, and have a spiritual drink with us!
cheers
thumbs up

Sure, no problem!
Hey, when we're all plugged into the collective matrix mainframe, I reckon a virtual bar or club could actually be quite a blast.

Or, better still get a live band in, why not?

Actually, you know what....it's kind of been a big disappointment!

Nobody (whoever they might be) should be labelled
So, I shouldn't label someone a Troll, even if they are?

Doesn't seem right.

What is an internet troll?
An Internet troll is a member of an online social community who deliberately tries to disrupt, attack, offend or generally cause trouble within the community.

tomcatty: Some religions are worse than that, they advocate killing people.

Whereas I agree there are stranger things in the universe than you can imagine, I can't help thinking most things on this thread are improbable.

I am willing to listen to persuasive arguments and proof but not floating lights
In the Catholic religion (apart from killing people) Jesus walked on water and performed alchemy ... how "probable" is that? How much "proof" does anyone have?

I feel no need to persuade anyone of anything or prove anything to anyone. Everyone has their own experiences and beliefs and is hopefully free to make the choices that shape who and what surrounds them

I don't know what happened all those years ago, that he(Jesus) was a wise and charismatic man is apparent., whether he was divine is a personal belief,
AS far as the here and now are concerned, I have no desire to entice you or anyone else to prove anything to me.

With all due respect, I have no romantic interest in you or anyone else on CS at the moment, this doesn't mean I won't be friendly.

I remember hearing a radio program not long ago which explained in many Shamanic cultures children suffering from what we would call mental disorders, such as bi-polar or even schizophrenia were revered and nurtured rather than medicated. It was seen as a gift and they were given special attention by the elders, many of them went on to become Shamen.

"In the shamanic view, mental illness signals “the birth of a healer,” explains Malidoma Patrice Somé. Thus, mental disorders are spiritual emergencies, spiritual crises, and need to be regarded as such to aid the healer in being born.

What those in the West view as mental illness, the Dagara people regard as “good news from the other world.”
