After all, there are other forum members who hide they profile when they log out, so it's nothing unusual.

I had some stalkers on CS dating site (not from forums and blogs) who wrote to me using multiple profiles and although I now delete all messages, I feel safer and better when I hide my profile. At least until they forget about me.

Any one who posts a thred. On here. Is libel. To be insulted. And kicked in the face......for their views on how they see things.........sure you can ignore it....and move on...........but for some . it's a great delight.......for them to chop. You down...because they are right and you are wrong..........if your a newbie.......get use to it........like some of us. On here. P.s. There are some very nice people. On here.......too.

I have noticed a couple of new profiles have posted and I invite the newbies to come on this thread...maybe talk about the thread subject they would like to discuss and I may just create them...if i consider the to be interesting enough and original enough

However, many threads turn into chatting among people who are here for a long time and know each other very well fast and it's very difficult to dive in and start chatting if you are new.
I remember how difficult it was for me when I was new on the forums and blogs. People needed some time to accept me and they also hadn't been very welcoming at first, even some people I started to get along very well later.
Honestly, if I were a new person, I'm not sure that I would join in...

I;m only here a few months I just joined at the latter end of the first lockdown and when I first joined I could get over how vile people were towards each other...But its just a pastime and it's only the internet so don't feel intimitated, just join in as though you've been here as long as the rest of us and don't worry...However, many threads turn into chatting among people who are here for a long time and know each other very well fast and it's very difficult to dive in and start chatting if you are new.
