Hi Selenite— it’s raining here at the moment. Just a thought— try Blackhawk County— the song “Oregon” @1975. Speaks well of my digs. ( young lady from here was set up and arrested in Turkey back then (Joanne Hubbard) for alleged drug smuggling. Took a long time to get her home. This band developed the song and used the money to help get her freed. She lives nearby. But, takes no calls, etc...concerning the incident.) very interesting story.

The word forgive is a very versatile acronym, and it should be used very carefully in the context of what should be forgiven. Forgiveness therefore does not also mean forgetting, and that is very closely related.
As someone mentioned, forgetting to put the toilet seat down / up ... it is forgivable and forgetting, Cheating, lying etc ... falls under a completely different context. And that is a lot harder to forget / forgive I think.

BOY HOWDY...some things would be just way too silly to not forgive; I interpreted this thread to be about those horrendous, deliberate things people do. My top- tier people- problem is weird f#*&$ who beat up (or worse..) helpless little ones, elderly, or poor little animals. I also take a hard line with identity thieves, and those who rip off pensioners, that sort of thing. I guess it would be safe to say that my line in the sand is “intent”. My previous ex did not cheat on me and I did not cheat on her...we were just too different and we did try to make things work...but it's crazy to carry on...when you don't feel the same about someone and not enjoying being around them anymore
I really have nothing to forgive...but think it was best to not be friends or stay in contact...cause it's best to move on and get on with life

Maybe I should consider myself lucky...cause we were never engaged or married and it was easy to cut ties...but it was still not easy to accept at the time...I guess sometimes you want something to work and look at it as a failure when it don't...instead of looking at it as one of lifes experiences and not regretting the good times you had with that personIt take two to have a relationship and when you are so intimately involved with someone...you have to have a good amount in common and rarely run out of things to talk about....the laughing...the sharing...the flirting..the long phone calls...the excitement and anticipation you feel...when you are going to meet up...might not last and when that candle has burned out...you can't relight it and start a new

Innerstanding is the neutral point of understanding and overstanding - with the knowing coming from a place of acceptance and unconditional love - not being skewed by the human consciousness/ego/dragon.
Thus eradicating the 'I AM' presence and replacing it with 'WE ARE' - seeing all as ONE. Manifested in an infinite number of forms.
