Anyone that doesn't eat garlic is just ignorant on the fact of basic nutrition. So I would hope that the woman does eat garlic and if you both consume it you don't smell it. Problem solved.

Cool trick if you've eaten garlic and she hasn't and you're about to meet: Kiss her with a bit of garlic in your mouth. Get some tongue action going and move that garlic from your mouth to hers. If you're skillful she won't know it though she may of course smell it initially. But not for long! This really solves this problem. It should work for raw red onions as well which can be pretty powerful.

I wouldn't consider marrying someone who is ignorant in the basics of nutrition. It just means they'll probably die 20+ years earlier than they normally would.

The benefits of garlic are enormous. But there are several other superfood condiments. All should be consumed fresh, not some powder packed in a package. Ginger, turmeric, shallots, green/red/white/yellow onions and the one few people are familiar with: Galanga! Here it is so you can recognize it next time you're food shopping:

You should eat one of these anytime you're consuming non-sweet foods. Any vegetable, carb or protein.
